Residue Wax or Foots Oil is a by-product of the solid paraffin production process obtained after oil extraction from Slack Wax. This material is a mixture of oil, free fatty acids, and small amounts of aromatics and sulfur, usually found in liquid or semi-solid form.

With its specific physical properties, this material is a suitable option for use in industrial products, lubricants, emulsions, and protective coatings.
