Bitumen

Bitumen 60/70 is one of the most widely used types of refinery penetrating bitumen obtained from the distillation of crude oil. The number 60/70 indicates the penetration degree of this bitumen at a temperature of 25 degrees Celsius; that is, the standard test needle penetrates 60 to 70 tenths of a millimeter into the bitumen. This type of bitumen has a softening point of 49 to 56 degrees and a flash point of about 250 degrees Celsius.
